Bisoye (Bisi) Oyelola

Bisoye (Bisi) Oyelola was born and raised in northern Connecticut but currently resides just outside of Philadelphia. She received her Bachelor of Arts from Temple University and two certificates from Harvard Business School Online in Sustainable Business Strategy and Business Analytics. While in college, Bisi took part in a variety of social-based organizations and leadership opportunities including the Vira I. Heinz Women in Global Leadership program in 2018 where she traveled abroad to Ghana to study reproductive health rights and Twi (the local language) at the University of Ghana.

Since graduating from the VIH program, Bisi served as the Community Citizenship and Outreach AmeriCorps VISTA with the Philadelphia Office of Immigrant Affairs. She now is starting a new position as a Social Enterprise Analyst in the social enterprise sector and aspires to continue to advocate for vulnerable communities. In her free time, Bisi enjoys writing, singing, and hosting women’s empowerment speaking groups.
