Kimberly Martel

My time in South Africa is something that I will value for the rest of my life.  Working with HIV/AIDS patients day in and day out was extremely rewarding and fulfilling, and assimilating into life in South Africa was such an interesting and fun experience.  I consider all of the people that I met while volunteering there to be part of my South African family; I am still in regular contact with the clinic, and my friend Amy and I e-mail back to each other all the time.
