Bio:
Crystal Couch (She/Her) is a graduate of SUNY, University at Buffalo where she obtained her B.A in Social Science Interdisciplinary: International Studies and History. In her undergraduate, she had the opportunity to travel abroad for two weeks on an intensive cultural exchange and leadership program in Germany and Austria. During this experience, she immersed herself in the history, politics, and culture of the country, communicated with local college students, and engaged in cross-cultural collaboration.  Crystal is currently an emerging higher education professional pursuing her Master of Education at the University of Pittsburgh. She centers her work around uplifting and advocating for minoritized students like herself and hopes to continue her education by pursuing her doctoral degree in Higher Education. With the VIH program and as the Graduate Intern, she hopes to continue working toward creating equitable access to global education for underrepresented students.
