Bio:
Alyssa Bell is a sophomore at Robert Morris University and a student-athlete, who has always dreamed of studying abroad. She plays Division I Women's soccer and majors in Biomedical Engineering, so she never thought studying abroad would be possible with her schedule, but the summer program through the Vira Heinz scholarship opportunity is the perfect opportunity for her. Alyssa plans on graduating with a Master's degree in either Engineering Management or Biomedical Engineering, and she wants to design prosthetic devices in the future. She would love to travel the world after college and visit as many new places as possible. Eventually, Alyssa would like to settle down in North Carolina and work with military veterans and their families who need prosthetics due to being injured during their service. In her free time, Alyssa loves to thrift clothes, read books, watch crime shows and comedies, and weight lift. Alyssa loves hanging out with her friends and values family time, especially with her golden retriever, Skye.
