VIH Awards and Recognitions

2019 CIEE Annual Conference, New York

Holistic Developmental Advising by Kay Greene (Arcadia), Danielle Genemore (Duquesne), Karin Chipman (Chatham), and Tuangtip Klinbubpa-Neff (Johnstown).

In the past ten years, international educators have increased the number of underrepresented students in study abroad. While expanding access is crucial, it is also imperative to build on these efforts to the end of better-serving underrepresented students. Through holistic, developmental advising, international educators can position underrepresented students to maximize their global perspectives, both at home and abroad.
